If you're in charge of planning your friend's bachelor party, you want to make it a night he'll never forget. If a gentleman's club has been permitted by the wife-to-be, then all bets are off and you're free to plan the party the way you want. Of course, even a party free of restrictions (reasonably speaking) can run into a snag without the right choices. There is a difference between a good establishment and one perfect for hosting a party. Here are some things to consider when you make your destination choice.
You can have a great strip joint, but that doesn't mean it will be a great place for a bachelor party. You'll need to make sure the atmosphere is right for such an occasion. A dim, subdued atmosphere may be just what a particular gentleman's club is going for, but it's going to make for a lousy party of any kind. Unless, of course, subdued and dim is just what you wanted. Either way, it pays to do some research ahead of time so you know what you're getting into. Some places won't even be amenable to the idea of a big party coming through the doors. You're not going to the library, but some places are better suited to a party atmosphere than others.
Working With Management
Call around and see if a gentleman's club in your area is willing to work with you to provide the best night possible for the bachelor in your circle of friends. Many places will bend over backwards to make sure you have a time you'll never forget. They'll keep the drinks coming and speak with the girls working that night to make sure you get something special. Even if you don't really need management to go out of their way, you might want to give them a heads up if you're bringing a big group into the establishment. Otherwise, they may have no other choice but to seat you in separate areas of the venue.
Don't make the mistake of bringing people who don't want anything to do with a gentleman's club. It isn't everyone's cup of tea, and you should respect that. Some guys feel as though they are betraying their beliefs or their significant others by going. If you have a couple of guys protesting (especially if one of them is the man of the hour himself), the night is going to be ruined before it ever gets started. If you're planning to surprise your bachelor, make sure that he isn't the type that would care one way or the other. Since this is a common destination for bachelor party's, it's likely to come up in conversation one way or the other.
